II. Course Objectives
(1) To
introduce students to the background and content of the New Testament

Roman and Jewish worlds of the NT
*Author,
date, and setting of each NT book
*Key
theological concepts in each NT book
*Key
problem passages in each NT book
(2) To
introduce students to basic principles for interpreting the New Testament
*Gospels

equip students to be better students and teachers of the New Testament

encourage students in personal spiritual growth, as a result of Bible study.
